For the fifth year in a row, salaries will grow the fastest in India among all Asian countries, according to a new survey.

An annual survey by the global human resource company Hewitt Associates, expects Indian salaries to rise an average 15.2 percent, after increasing 15.1 percent last year.

Salaries in China are projected to grow by 8.5 percent, followed by the Philippines with 8.3 percent.

The survey measures compensations in five job categories - executives, managers, midlevel staff, clerks and manual workers.
The survey covered 2,000 Asian companies, 540 of which are in India.
