The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation is suing Intel for infringing on its patent in the development of its Intel Duo Core chip. A
 
lawsuit filed by the group in federal district court in Wisconsin alleges that four Wisconsin University faculty members, including two Indians, Terani Vijaykumar and Gurindar Sohi, currently head of the Computer Science Department at the university, patented the technology behind the chip in 1998.
