| The financial meltdown and a volatile currency markets has hit some of India's largest outsourcing companies. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., reported profits of $256 million in the third quarter on revenues of $1.41 billion. But the company lost $52.5 million from foreign exchange hedges. Wipro' reported net profit for the quarter of $177 million on $1.38 billion in revenues.
