Hero Group drops joint truck-building venture with German automaker Daimler AG

Citing weak demand in India, the Hero Group, the country’s largest motorcycle maker, is dropping its joint truck-building venture with German automaker Daimler AG. The company said the decision followed “amicable and mutual decisions between the partners, and we shall continue to explore doing business together in the future.”
