News Corp Elevates India Business

Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. is restructuring its Asian broadcast business, significantly elevating the profile of its STAR India business.
The group’s Asian broadcast business is being segmented into STAR India, STAR Greater China and Fox International Channels.

STAR India will run 19 channels and manage News Corp.’s interest in seven ventures. STAR Greater China will oversee five Chinese language channels and two joint ventures. Fox International Channels combines 37 channels including Star World and National Geographic Channel.
