Air India Gets Bailout

Air India is reeling under a $8 billion debt load.

The Indian government is infusing $423 million to bail out Air India, which is reeling under $8 billion in debt. The company has agreed to trim $412.7 million in costs and reduce its fleet from 146 aircrafts to 105 by March 2011.
