GE is aggressively courting the Indian market, including a healthcare joint venture

General Electric Co. is teaming up with Triveni Engineering & Industries to produce 30- to 100-megawatt steam turbines at Triveni’s Bangalore plant for the Indian and overseas markets.

 
“Our strategic alliance reflects GE’s continued commitment to India and strengthens our local market presence,’’ said GE India chief executive John Flannery.
