Hundreds Of Indian Wal-Marts

If the Indian government allows foreign investment in the retail sector, Wal-Mart will open “hundreds of news stores” according to the company’s Indian head Raj Jain.

 
The company currently is in a 50:50 joint venture with Bharti Enterprises and has two stores in the country, which service wholesalers as current policy bars foreign investment in the retail sector to protect domestic retailers.
