India's software service and outsourcing industries are expected to grow 33 percent in 2008, with new business in Europe offsetting the U.S. slowdown
The United States is the Indian software industry's biggest market with 61 percent of the total software services export market. The United Kingdom accounts for 18 percent and continental Europe for 12 percent.
Exports of software and services are expected to top $40.8 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31; domestic revenues are projected at $23.2 billion.
