Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. plans to assemble and sell light pickup trucks in the United States by 2010.
Pawan Goenka, president of the company's auto services, says, "We are looking at the possibility of assembling pickup trucks in the United States through a contract manufacturer by 2010."
Mahindra has partnered with Atlanta-based Global Vehicles USA for assembling and distributing vehicles, which are expected to be priced around $25,000. | |
