A 34-year-old Indian immigrant, reportedly estranged from his wife, is suspected of dousing his two children with gasoline and setting them ablaze in his home in a Chicago suburb.
Police suspect that Kaushik Patel, 34, currently hospitalized with severe burns, set his two sons, Om, 4, and Vishv, 7, who are in drug-induced comas, on fire.
The man's sister-in-law told the media that he had driven the badly burned boys to her home and said he had attempted suicide with them.
