Sikkim wants to market itself as "another Switzerland" to tourists.

Chief Minister Pawan Chamling on a "copycat" tour of Europe vows,

"We will try our level best to replicate them in Sikkim". We are confident that Sikkim will be another Switzerland in our country."

The state currently draws 300,000 tourists annually, a fifth of whom are foreigners, but hopes to attract 1 million tourists by 2015.

But the idea of transforming of Sikkim into Switzerland smacks somewhat of Swiss cheese -- you know the one with holes
