Indians are a nation of nonstop talkers so it's no surprise that after catching up with China, India is projected to surpass it to become the fastest growing cellular market in the world. According to Portio Research's study on Top 25 Mobile Growth Markets Worldwide, India will add 358 million mobile subscribers by 2011. And to think just a decade back trying to talk to family in India was as frustrating as placing a call to the moon, with interruptions and the famous "all circuits are busy now" refrain. Indians - and Indian Americans - believe in being in touch with their families 24/7 and that must be the reason for the cell phone revolution. After all, what's life without a daily serving of gupshup?
