Amar Bose, founder of Bose Corporation of Google's Kavitark Shriram each with $1.8 billion in personal wealth tied for 271st position on Forbes' annual list of the richest Americans.

 
Syntel's Bharat Desai with $1.7 billion and venture capitalist Vinod Khosla with $1.5 billion ranked 286th and 317th respectively.

The list is headed, predictably, again this year by Microsoft's Bill Gates with a net worth of $59 billion and Berkshire Hathaway's Warren Buffet with $52 billion.
