A teacher uses an exposed wire connected to batteries to administer the mild shocks

A physics teacher in Bhusaval, Maharashtra, who administered electric shocks to discipline 22 unruly eighth grade students has been charged with criminal intimidation.

 
The teacher used an exposed wire connected to batteries to administer the mild shocks. None of the students were injured.
