World record for the most expensive sari

A silk sari studded with gold, diamonds, sapphire, ruby and emeralds and replicating 11 paintings of the famous artist of Raja Ravi Verma is vying to set the world record for the most expensive sari.

 
30 weavers worked on the $100,000 sari over seven months, which was designed employing CAD software, according to Chennai Silks.
