Fast Track for NRIs in Punjab

The Punjab government is setting up six police stations and a fast track court for NRIs.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said the six NRI police stations in Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala, Moga, Nawanshahr
 
and Ludhiana districts will have web-enabled hotlines. The government is also setting up a fast track court in Jalandhar to speed up NRI property and revenue cases. The state's police chief has also been directed to review and resolve the 1,300  pending cases involving NRIs within two months.
