An American couple traveled 9,300 miles from Bangalore to New York to vote in the U.S. presidential election. Susan Scott-Ker and her husband, who have been working in India since the summer, decided to make the trip after their absentee ballots didn’t arrive in time. The couple are both immigrants who became U.S. citizens a year ago and were voting in the U.S. for the first time.
