Two 20-year-olds who had never touched a baseball a year ago became the first Indians to secure professional baseball contracts when they were signed as free agents in the minor league by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

 Two 20-year-olds who had never touched a baseball a year ago became the first Indians to secure professional baseball contracts when they were signed as free agents in the minor league by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

 
Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel came to the United States six months ago after winning an Indian reality TV show, the "Million Dollar Arm," which attracted 30,000 contestants nationwide.

Singh and Patel are being represented by well-known agent Jeff Borris, for whom their $10,000 contracts has got to be chump change.
