Women in India outraged by attacks by Hindu fundamentalists against couples celebrating Valentine’s Day came up with a novel strategy to shame their tormentors this February.

 
The newly formed Consortium of Pub-going, Loose and Forward Women organized a Pink Chaddis Campaign, shipping thousands of pink underwear to Pramod Mutalik, head of Sri Ram Sena (Army of Lord Ram) on Valentine’s Day.

Hindi fundamentalists groups, such as the Ram Sena, beat up couples in bars and public parks
