Celebrity Doc Charged

Celebrity doctor Sandeep Kapoor is charged with furnishing prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith.

Posecutors have charged Anna Nicole Smith’s ex-boyfriend and two physicians Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, with compliciyty in her death from a drug oversdose.

 
The 11-count complaint, accuses Kapoor and Eroshevich of acquiring a prescription for opiates by “fraud, deceit or misrepresentation. ” Kapoor, who boasted a medical practice of “Entertainment Medicine,” and ex-boyfriend Howard Stern are charged with “prescribing, administering or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.”

Attorney General Brown said, “These individuals repeatedly and excessively furnished thousands of prescription pills to Anna Nicole Smith, often for no legitimate medical purpose.’’
