| Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray, who has built his political reputation fulminating against Muslims can be grateful to two Muslim physicians who treated him when he found himself gasping for breath. Dr. Jaleel Parkar and Dr Samad Ansari from Lilavati Hospital administered medical help to him at his home recently after which he was rushed to the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Over the years, Thackeray has denounced Muslims, saying, “They were spreading like a cancer and should be operated on like a cancer” and exhorting Hindus to “bring Islam to this country down to its knees.” Breathe easy. |
