Philadelphia police have charged an Indian romeo with stealing $40,000 from women he romanced online.

 
Police say Jay D. Singh, 32, stole the identities and credit cards of Indian women he befriended and romanced on Indian singles sites to finance his jet-setting lifestyle. He was arrested after one of his victims, in collaboration with police, lured him for a drink in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square, where he showed up with a bouquet of roses.

Court has set bail at $1.5 million for Singh, who also goes by Jaitass Dhanoa Singh, Jay Dhanoa Singh, and Dhanoa Singh. Police believe he has similarly exploited several other women,who they are encouraging to come forward.
