Vogue India is making a statement against the color prejudice in the country (see Little India, January 2010) with a cover celebrating dark skinned models.

In an accompanying editorial, the editors write: “Every generation has its share of beauty myths. Perhaps it is time to bust this one. Time to say that as a magazine we love, and always have loved, the gorgeous color of Indian skin ... dark, dusky, bronze, golden — whatever you call it, we love it.”
