A $29 million, 380-feet spiraling sculpture, taller than even the Statue of Liberty, designed by Indian British artist Anish Kapoor has been selected to mark London’s 2012 Olympic Games.

 
Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal’s steel company ArcelorMittal will finance almost 70 percent of the cost of the sculpture, named ArcelorMittal Orbit, beside the Olympic Park.
